02-2016: Degree, Degree-equivalent & Bridging Course - what does it all mean?

The proposed Corporations Amendment (Professional Standards of Financial Advisers) Bill 2016 requires all Financial Advisers / Planners (ultimately) to:

  • complete a Bachelor Degree or higher degree, or
  • Degree-equivalent qualification, or
  • Approved Bridging course

The exact list of such qualification and courses will be approved by the Standards (Setting) Body.
